Listservers

DialogNet and Gopher: Both of these sites provide hundreds of listservers, ranging from period discussions (Renaissance or Victorian literature) to stylistic ones (Surrealism or Magic Realism) to individual authors (Chaucer to Heaney). Most of these automated email lists are provided by universities for academics, so the discussions are often too serious, or abstruse, for the general audience.

MailBase presents a variety (31) of literary listservs.

Liszt presents dozens of literary and non-academic listservs.
