POSSIBLE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN DRUG USE AND CRIME

Steven P. Lab, Crime Prevention: Approaches, Practices and Evaluations, Anderson Publishing Co., Cincinnati, 1992

The idea of a connection between drug use and crime receives a great deal of attention by the public and in the literature. Situations in which most of the offenders test positive for drug use provide many individuals with a strong basis for claiming a causal relationship.
