Arrangments were generated from this model to see if three paths cutting through the site would randomly jostle the units into more interesting patterns. It soon became apparent that the vestibules were forming into the predicted taut lines. In doing so, however, they were trying to pull the terminae together. The terminae shifted to positions of closest mutual proximity allowed by their floating zones. It could be seen that this would inevitably occur with the type of model which was specified. The floating terminae were changed to fixed points and the model was run again.
