A note on the two pieces: Sometimes I read scientific "facts" that mesmerize me as if they are somehow analogous to an emotional /psychological state or situation I am experiencing at the time—as if they're poetic metaphors—and it was one of those moments that metamorphosized into "FLOUNDERS." In both pieces I incorporated an observable fact, and experimented with different ways of using the physical space of a page.
