The affection is effective? Or the affectation?

Hey, Metz, thanks so so much for your vote of confidence on this one--and heck, on any of my work that strays out that neat little box that I thought was my poetry. Like I told Bill above, I am consciously trying to write in a new way--and the results often are strange and surprising even to me. So, it's good to hear that some readers are sticking with me as I hack out a path and try to find my way to something "new".

I'll try to find some bang for the ending, sir. And yeah, that like a tank may just be outta whack. (don't be getting all technical on me---like I told Ayers, so much of this stuff is way over my head) (grin)

Outta whack. Yeah. That's where I'm pulling these poems from. (smile)

Really, thanks for this crit.

Now, excuse me while I go do a little jig. It's time to celebrate, quietly, tentatively, here in Browns country. I think we done finally got ourselves a good coach.
