Hi Jude

Nice title but read along with the opening lines the whole poem appears to be excerpted from 1955..unless ofcourse you wanted that.

Also the smooth flow staggers a bit around

'but let him know be sure to let him know
you must always tell' ....you may consider

but let him know /
your plans, your day, each thought

Biting. Cheers

: Housekeeping Monthly, Monday May 13 1955

: 1.
: Have dinner ready. Plan ahead, even the night
: before, to have a delicious meal ready, on
: time for his return. This is a way of
: letting him know that you have been thinking
: about him and are concerned about his needs.
: Most men are hungry when they come home and
: the prospect of a good meal (especially his
: favourite dish) is part of the warm welcome
: needed.

: Once a week or so
: you should cook it in the nude
: serve everything on glass
: and use your satin slips for table mats
: to really show concern
: you could lie the plates across your thigh
: but let him know be sure to let him know
: you must always tell
: your plans your day each thought
: or he'll think you're hiding something
: even with all the see-through
: bare and open
: and the stress will be too much
: he'll lift the rice and fish
: right off your belly
: and drop it in the trash
: and that'll be it
: you'll end up hungry
: lying there like some kind of dish
: while your husband in his dark study
: pours maple syrup
: over white buns for dinner
: and what kind of good wife
: would you be then?
