: David,

: I guess it's the same people who told you that
: being a self-righteous, condescending prick
: passes for intellect. Stride to that, not
: in.

: When your poems get past being the laughably
: bad, inept pieces of shit that they are,
: then I'll start taking suggestions from you.
: Till then, I'm good.

: I'm here to learn, not to think that every
: piece of drivel that I write is great and
: everyone who doesn't get them must be a
: fucking moron--like some.

: Worst,

: Ash ****

i really don't mean to be dull

or cause any further strife

but i've been asking myself that very question for a long time

i mean the assumption in your post: that there is a correlation between ones ability to crit poetry and write it

or -- can one learn something about poetry from someone who writes shitty poems

Frankly -- i find some of what Halitsky says has some merit to it and he's quite an articulate fellow once you get past his obnoxiousness

????

(i'm not talking about this poem of yours which i quite enjoyed, btw)

anyway. please excuse me for intruding
in your thread

yes. He is quite rude, i agree.

(i'm glad also to have found someone who curses more than i do. thanks)
