we need God she says
God wants us to be
a nautilus of intimacy

the lean and swirl of her

harnessing the power of atoms
even if it’s true due to distribution of force a knife causes more damage
than a blunt weapon but less than a fireball’s blast winds

such force driven with such disequilibrium is not God but white
misogynist God and misandry contempt for men God
not God but our conception of God for God is the loveliest form she gestures
to the spanish colombian woman kissing the black feet of Christ
in the alcove of la sagrada familia her hand in mine my hand in hers
nothing more needed she sighs as the Spirit of God
sighs God is all women old and young all men
