Dear Sky, I’m mad at you
you look just like a sky looks anywhere
if anywhere’s not great
sometimes weather’s necessary
this isn’t Ireland and green needs to be more
green; living and waitressing
in Dublin, lying miserably awake
at least there was long days’ strange light
when I came back, I found out
she’d watched tourist videos
and read Dubliners, thought about
reading Ulysses, Finnegan’s Wake
