Kazim Ali, Editorial Staff

Kazim Ali is a writer, and interdisciplinary artist based in the Hudson Valley. His written work has appeared in national journals, most recently Colorado Review, Rattapallax, Hayden's Ferry Review, and Washington Square. He's recently recorded a CD of his sound-work, and breath-music which he performs regularly. He is a founding member of the Cocoon Dance Company based in Rhinebeck, NY. Kazim Ali is a member of the Liberal Arts faculty of the Culinary Insitute of America, where he teaches advanced writing, literature, and seminars in aesthetics.

Long penniless trip through France, ended up on the rocky beaches of Corsica, broke, loveless, and keeping company of two Basques, neither of whom spoke any English.
