The Music Issue
Since the days of Dionysian tragedy, poetry and music have been elements intrinsic to the full realization of the human spirit. Most artists would agree that inspiration is not always engendered from within our own discipline, and there's little doubt that cross-pollination between music and literature has produced great results in each respective art form. We at PBQ have decided to devote Issue 72 to the reciprocity between lit and lyrics: we ask poets, writers, and musicians for work influenced by, or directly or indirectly relating to music. To date, Issue 72 will feature work by musicians Jeff Tweedy of Wilco, Josh Ritter and more.

Submissions must be postmarked by June 30, 2004.
