Kathleen Hellen:
Kathleen Hellen has been published in Earth's Daughters, Frogpond, Hawai'i Review, Iris, Natural Bridge, Nimrod International, The Pacific Review, Poetry International, Prairie Schooner, Rattapallax, Runes: A Review of Poetry, Seattle Review, Southern Poetry Review, Sow's Ear Poetry Review and Sycamore Review, among others. Awards include the Thomas Merton Prize for Poetry of the Sacred, the Individual Artist Award from the Maryland State Arts Council, the James Still Award for Poetry. She was a finalist in the Pablo Neruda Prize for Poetry and the Kore Press First Book Award. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, she teaches creative writing and is currently serving as poetry editor for the Baltimore Review.
