Cloud Hold

 

       —White boats              absolute
dissolute              one moors at another
        for water             it wants to hurt
no one and won’t              so I want to
say I’ve been going through
       some things              I don’t know how to start

       such beautiful boats!
all are needed              none forsaken             one
       wet and light             one white and grey
one close to witness             I am new
to this ease                         not to know
      then to know                    look I found a way

       across old water
damage music to a shore beyond
      confusion              a sky all done
with cloud and clear            I want to have
more of you or none            crave
       me or leave alone           I went on

       the way through some things
of ours             invitations             a white dress
       I wore over fields breathless
beside you             all holes             yes I said
